I just brought a Acer laptop from Lowyat last Saturday, 17th June 2006. Model Aspire 3628, with
Pentium M 735A (1.7GHz, 400MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache)
14.1″ WXGA CrystalBrite TFT LCD
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900
40 GB HDD
DVD/CDRW Combo
256mb DDR -> upgraded to 512mb
802.11b/g wireless LAN
for only RM2325 paying with Credit Card(additional 2% surcharge)
It comes with a Linux OS, however I perfered a Windows since it is user friendly and I am more used to the functions. So I decided to install Windows XP on it.

just go to low yat plaza and ask around…
u need to bargain for it and look for promotion
currently because of upcoming new processor… laptops for these model are getting cheaper
