Remote Logon to my Desktop
Having fun fooling around with my lappie lately
after years I have no freedom of moving around and had a computer everywhere I go
now, with wireless connections I am free, free from siting at the same spot for the sake of using the computer
However,
The major problem I had was my desktop holds all my music collections and it is connected to my Hi-Fi
my old yet useful hi-fi is one big baby connecting four large speakers surrounding my room,
some of you may say, transfer the musics to your laptop and listen from there lar,
well, you can’t blame me for that. the speakers on my laptop aren’t any great speakers and if i gonna listen for long i wouldn’t be able to stand it
to do this, I set my desktop to be able to remotely accessable
typed in the ip address and log in username and password from my laptop
wao la~! I access my desktop from my laptop
and now i on winamp and play musics remote controlled by my laptop
just like the screenshot i took
sweet, now i am lying on my bed select my favorites music without moving up and down
there are some other way to do it such as setting a bluetooth link with your handphone and you can use it as a remote control
